…In
Prison Ministry
At
Glory House, we have a strong ministry outreach to men who have
been incarcerated, have accepted Christ as their Savior and Lord,
and now desire to learn to walk in Christ.
At our Transition Houses, men are lead to look
self-confrontationally at their lives.
They are counseled educationally, occupationally, and
spiritually to bring all their thoughts into captivity to the
obedience of Christ. Our
six-month program is focused on helping each man establish a
relationship with Christ. The
men learn to surrender their will and make right choices by
learning a lifestyle of reading God’s word, praying, and
meditating.

…In
the Community
Through relational commitments such as
our Prison Ministry and
Men's Transition House, Prayer Walking, and
others, we expect to draw the lost to come and meet Jesus Christ and let
the Holy Spirit do His work.
We
desire the church at 40 Jefferson Avenue
to be utilized by other groups and ministries besides our own and
pray for an interdenominational working together of God’s people
to bring hope to the hopeless as Christ sheds light in the
darkness.

BOARD
OF DIRECTORS
Pastor Tom Frederick
Before
coming to the ministry, Pastor Tom's background included teaching
and coaching, sales, leatherwork, construction and the post
office. He has been going into the prisons since 1991 and
founded Glory House Ministries with his wife Martha in 2000.
Although he believed he went into the prisons to help, the Lord
told Tom that He drew him there so He could heal him. The
uncompromising faith that fills Pastor Tom flows in every
direction and spills over onto everything in his path. The
Glory House Ministries Transition Houses and Church are pure
obedience to Christ's call, and Pastor Tom and Martha eagerly look
forward to continued pursuit of His will.
Martha Frederick

as tending to the financial functions of the Church and Transition
Houses. In 2004, she retired from the United States
Postal Service after 30 years of service. Mrs. Frederick is a
graduate of Shippensburg University with a bachelor's degree in

In addition to serving on the board of directors of Glory
House Ministries, Mr. Kushman participates in a bible study group
directed by York Christian Fellowship.
He sincerely values his time with others and believes the
Lord has made a huge difference in his life and can do so for all
who seek Him. He also
knows that all believers have a responsibility to share the good
news but that they may be afraid to step out.
His counsel to them is to take Dr. Charles Stanley’s
advice and don’t preach - approach your friends and family by
talking about what the Lord has done for you.

Ministries by mentoring the men and leading the Tuesday Evening
