York Rescue Mission – Women’s Ministry  The Women's Ministries is a Christ-based program teaching the principles and truths of the Bible that offers support for the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of all the women and children who come to them for assistance.  This ministry begins at the Women & Children's Emergency Shelter. The Fresh Start Program and the New Creation Bridge Housing Program are available. The Women & Children's Shelter is located at 17 Jefferson Avenue and our New Creation Bridge Housing can be found at 27 Jefferson Avenue Call 717-845-5947.

Justice & Mercy, Inc. is a nonprofit, volunteer organization dedicated to decreasing the effects of crime in our communities, increasing public safety, and ministering to and restoring both crime victims and offenders. They achieve these goals by educating and informing the public at large, advocating cost-effective and practical reforms within the criminal justice system and by supporting and encouraging wise public policy.  They also network with and support other criminal justice organizations and encourage church and community outreach efforts by working to increase knowledge and understanding of public policy issues.

Yokefellow Prison Ministry - Providing prison Bible Studies and services to released persons from the York County Prison. Yokefellow Prison Ministry helps to provide a second chance for those who are seeking to rebuild their life and encourages clients to build healthy relationships that will continue to strengthen them as they grow as Christians.  This Ministry provides inmates in the York County Prison with a spiritual and physical link to the ecumenical community through weekly Bible Studies. Yokefellow's care continues after a prisoner serves his or her time through the provision of temporary housing, financial assistance, job search opportunities and continued spiritual support.
